What should be checked before installing air conditioning?
Room volume, unit positions, pipe routes, condensate drainage, electrical supply, noise and permissions should be assessed before installation.

Define the actual requirement
The number and volume of rooms, solar exposure, insulation and building use all influence the solution. An oversized or poorly distributed system does not guarantee better comfort.
Assess unit positions
Air should circulate without blowing directly onto occupants. The outdoor unit must remain accessible for maintenance and be positioned with regard to noise, the façade and neighbours.
Plan pipes, condensate and electricity
The route of the connections, condensate drainage and electrical supply should be planned before drilling and finishing work.
Check permissions and commissioning
Co-ownership rules, a protected façade or local requirements may require approval. Commissioning and handling refrigerants must be carried out by a qualified professional where required by law.
