Applicable guarantees depend on the nature of the work carried out, installed materials, manufacturer conditions, the accepted quote, the contract and applicable Belgian law. The guarantees relevant to the project are specified in the quote or contractual documents.
Ten-year liability only concerns work and defects within its legal scope, including certain serious defects that may affect the strength or stability of the building. It is not a general ten-year guarantee automatically applying to every repair, painting job, cleaning service or maintenance intervention.
Supplied equipment and materials may also benefit from applicable legal or commercial guarantees, in accordance with the conditions for the product concerned.
